Enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean!

Here on this user friendly site you can find all that the shrub land biome in the Mediterranean region of the world, or the shrubland/chaparral biome has to offer.
First off, what is a biome? A biome is a complex biotic community characterized by distinctive plant and animal species and maintained under the climatic conditions of the region, especially such a community that has developed to climax. The shrubland biome is classified as a shrubland biome due to its plants, animals, and location. In the Mediterranean region of the shrublands, scientific research is being conducted. Water levels are being watched and tested by scientists to see if global oceans are rising enough to effect those who are living near large bodies of water, and if in years to come costal areas like the shrublands in the Mediterranean will cease to exsist.
